Being a Cavite- based destination wedding photographer, my first wedding coverage in Cebu was very exciting. Doing Ino and Joy’s prenuptial shoots was pretty special yet their wedding topped it. Joy was in cloud nine and you’d see that her eyes twinkled especially when she walked down that aisle. I felt Ino was beyond proud because this girl would be officially his that day. Well, Ino must have had lost his self when he saw Joy’s dimples- to- die- for.
Almost everyone around Ino and Joy was expecting this Cebu wedding for a long time. Afterall, they’ve been sweethearts for the last seven years. Their family, friends and guests were equally happy and excited that this wedding was getting officially done. This marriage is just an extension of what started long time ago. Who doesn’t want to be a destination wedding photographer when this kind of union happens?
Cebu wedding is such a great idea especially when the weather is cooperating. The blue gowns of the secondary sponsors matched the sky that day. It was so bright that they had to wear sunnies during the photoshoot. The reception venue, El Salvador Beach Resort was a great choice because of the exclusivity it offers. Since this Cebu wedding’s reception was held outdoor, the beach line from my seat made me want to stay longer after Ino and Joy’s wedding itself. I guess it’s more of the sunset timed wedding dinner that did the trick to make this wedding surreal.
As a destination wedding photographer I’d like to look forward to capturing these kinds of love story that proves that even though couples may be considered young but the promises they made to each other that day were true and sincere.
I couldn’t wait to be back there. Cebu keep it coming.
